2009 Bahrain GP Result - Brawn's Jenson Button won, Vettel 2nd


Brawn GP and Jenson Button's dream run continues in the 2009 Formula1 Championship as they registered 3rd win out of 4 races in the season and won the 2009 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sakhir circuit on Sunday, 26th April, 2009. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel 2nd while Toyata's Jarno Trulli finished 3rd.

Defending champion McLaren's Lewis Hamilton finished hid best race of the season at fourth followed by Rubens Barrichello in 2nd Brawn.

Ferrari finally got some point and avoided its wirst start in their history as Kimi Raikkonen finished 6th. Tim Glock in 2nd Toyota finished seventh while Renault's Fernando Alonso took final point of the race.

Force India F1 drivers Fisichella and Adrian Sutil finished 15th and 16th respectively.

Toyota in front as Jarno Trulli Takes Pole, Tim Glock 2nd in 2009 Bahrain Grand Prix

Toyota will start from the front row as its drivers Jarno Trulli and team mate Tim Glock finished 1st-2nd in the Saturday's qualifying for the 2009 Bahrain Grand Prix for the Race Day at Sakhir circuit on Sunday, 26th April, 2009.

Trulli took 1:33.431 seconds for his fourth career pole in 203 races while team mate took 1:33.712 sec. Last race winner Sebastian Vettel finished 3rd with 1:34.015 sec in Red Bull followed by championship leader Jenson Button finished 4th with the timing of 1:34.044 sec in his Brawn.

Defending champion McLaren's Lewis Hamilton finished 5th while Brawn's Rubens Barrichello finished 6th. Renault's Fernando Alonso will start from seventh position followed by Ferrari's Felippe Massa, Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen in 2nd Ferrari to finish in top10.

Force India F1 drivers will start the race from 16th and 18th place respectively.

2009 Chinese Grand Prix Preview, Circuit details at Shanghai

Third race of the 2009 Formula 1 season will be held as Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai from Friday, 17th April, to Sunday, 19h April, 2009. Brawn GP's Jenson Button leading the driver's championship after back to back win in 2 races.

2009 Chinese Grand Prix has been moved ahead to 3rd race in the season as compared to last in 2008 F1 season. Shanghai circuit is of 5.451 km length of 56 laps race covers 305.066 km distance.

Hope for a good race in Shanghai after rain hit Malaysian Grand Prix which completed only 32 laps out of 66 laps and forced to take only half the points.

Brwn's Jenson Button won rain hit 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix

Jenson Buttoon of newly formed team Brawn GP won second consecutive race of the 2009 Formula 1 season as he won the rain hit 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix. BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld finished second and Toyota's Timo Glock finished 3rd.

Rain interrupted the race in the 22nd lap of the 56 lap scheduled race, Button who lost his lead to Glock in the process of changing to wet tyres swept back his lead in 29th lap and leading the race in 33rd lap when the race was stopped after a thunderstorm broke at the Sepang International Circuit.

All the drivers will get half the points where they finished in the race.

Jenson Button after won 2009 penning race last week at Melbourne continues his dream run with the new team Brawn GP as he takes pole in the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix, 2nd race of the season at Sepang circuit Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, for the Race Day on Sunday, 5th April, 2009.

Button took a time of 1 min 35.181 seconds to secure the fifth position and second of the season closely beaten Toyota's Jarno rulli who finished 2nd with a time of 1min 35.273sec.

Tim Glock will start at 3rd place after penalties handed out to Sebastian Vettel and Rubens Barrichello. William's Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber's Red Bull finished 4th and 5th respectively followed by Kubica at 6th with Kimi Raikkonen's in Ferrari in 7th and the Renault of Fernando Alonso in 8th.

Barrichello after penalty will start from 9th followed by Nick Heidfeld in BMW at 10th place. McLaren's Hamilton and team-mate Heikki Kovalainen in 13th and 14th respectively while errari's Felippe Massa will start from 16th position.

Force India F1 drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil will start from 18th and 19th respectively.
